A little about me.
Hi, I'm Sue Andersen.
After being an avid gardener for my entire life, I decided to pursue a degree in Landscape Design through Cuyahoga Community College, a NALP accredited school.
I have been designing now for over six years while also working as a Senior Horticulturist at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens for more than five years. Stan Hywet was the former home of F.A. Seiberling, founder of Goodyear Rubber and Tire and the historical gardens are some of the finest in this country.
I feel that the ability to blend together my plant knowledge and design skills enable me to create a winning design for my customers. Upon interviewing my clients, I will always listen to their desires, but will also let them know if something will work or not. I always create my designs with the knowledge of placing the right plants in the proper places. I do not believe in putting a plant that will outgrow its location in a matter of only a few years.
I thoroughly enjoy the designing process where I have the ability to be creative and come up with solutions for a client’s property’s problems and to create an enjoyable outdoor living space with an aesthetically pleasing look.
I look forward to helping you take your outdoor environment and making it an extension of your indoor living space.
